Lachlan Children’s Services is a friendly workplace that offers you flexibility, generous leave conditions and the opportunity for training and development. We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Early Child Care Educator at our Condobolin Childcare Centre. In this role you may work across all aspects of the service including: Pre-School, Mobile Childcare Service, After School Care, Vacation Care, playgroups and other activities to contribute to high quality programs for children in our communities.

This is a part-time position working a minimum of 24 hours per week and the duration of the traineeship is two years. Ongoing employment at the end of the traineeship will be subject to satisfactory performance and the availability of a permanent position..

To be successful you will need a current Working With Children’s Check and Driver’s Licence. You must also enjoy working with children and have the ability to undertake training in First Aid and to obtain a Certificate III in Early childhood Education and Care. All our educators must also have a focus on delivery of services to support and enhance the lives of our young people and the wider community.

Salary: From $20.42 per hour (applicants aged 18 or over)
