Lachlan Shire Council have opportunities for trainee's to join our team in the areas of Water and Sewer, Business Administration, Civil Construction and Early Child Care. These positions are full-time, 12 months to 2 years.

The Mechanic Apprentice will gain a Trade qualification (Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) over a four year indentured Apprenticeship.

We are looking for candidates who want to gain practical on the job experience whilst receiving training and a nationally recognised qualification with the potential to becoming a full-time employee on conclusion of the traineeship.

  • The salary range is $1,168.40 to $1,606.60 per fortnight (16 to 18 years or over)
