This permanent full-time opportunity is for an Revenue/Finance Support Officer. This position is an integral part of Council’s Corporate and Community Services team supporting the delivery of revenue services. The officer is expected to provide confidential timely professional level customer service. This position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of rating, water billing, debt recovery, and provides relief for Corporate and Community Services team members. 

To be successful you will need one or more years' experience working in an office based environment, hold a Class C Licence, have excellent customer service skills, have an intermediate level of skill in Microsoft Office programs, experience in electronic records management, a high level of written and oral communication skills and good time management skills.

Benefits for you:

  • The salary range is $2,673 to $2,873 per fortnight
  • Starting salary to be determined upon the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.
  • The Grade applicable to the position is Grade 8 within Council's Salary Structure
  • Working 76 hours per fortnight with a rostered day off (9 Day fortnight) 
  • 3 weeks sick leave
  • Professional Development opportunities are available
  • Employer Superannuation of 11.5%
  • Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award
