An opportunity exists to kick start your Career working in our Infrastructure Services team as a permanent full-time Plant Operator Level 2 at our Lake Cargelligo depot.
The role is varied and includes labouring duties and the operation of plant items such as tractors, mowers and rollers. In this role you could be involved in road construction and maintenance, park and garden maintenance or other projects.
To be successful you will need a Drivers Licence and experience working outdoors with small plant. A heavy vehicle licence and experience operating tractors and earthmoving equipment would be an advantage but is not essential.

Benefits for you:
- The salary range is $2,086 to $2,243 per fortnight
- Starting salary to be determined upon the qualifications and experience of successful applicant.
- The Grade applicable to the position is Grade 4 within Council's Salary Structure
- 76 working hours per fortnight with a rostered day off (9 Day fortnight)
- 3 weeks sick leave
- Professional Development opportunities are available
- Employer Superannuation of 11.5%
- Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award
