An exciting opportunity exists in our Infrastructure Services team for a permanent full-time Truck Driver Level 2 - Gravel Haulage Truck & Trailer.  

This position primarily operates a tipper and dog trailer transporting gravel from pits to job sites as well as undertaking a variety of duties ranging from labouring to plant operation when required.

To be successful you will require a Heavy Combination Drivers Licence, relevant experience operating a tipper or similar equipment, ability to undertake basic truck maintenance and have good communication skills.

  • The position is Grade 5 within Council's salary structure with a salary range of $2,161 to $2,323 per fortnight
  • Starting salary will be determined upon the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.
  • 76 working hours per fortnight with a rostered day off (9 Day fortnight)

  • Employer Superannuation of 11.5%
  • Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award
