Lachlan Shire Council's Infrastructure Services team are looking for a Administration Officer!

This position is in Council's Infrastructure Services Department. This role is responsible for providing a high level secretarial & administrative support to the Director of Infrastructure Services and the wider Infrastructure Services team. In this position you will provide exceptional customer service to the public over the phone and in person while assisting them with enquiries relevant to the department's work including roads, water services, footpaths, parks and cemeteries. 

This position is Full-time. 

To be successful you will need:

  • a Certificate IV in Business Administration/studying towards or possess equivalent work related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills.
  • Highly developed organisational, time management & planning skills
  • To be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain integrity & confidentiality and manage competing work priorities.
  • Ability to understand and interpret legislation.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including excellent written and oral communication skills are required to be effective in this role.
  • A Class C Driver Licence. 
  • A high level of proficiency using Ms Office programs.

Benefits for you:

  • The salary range is $2,787.65 to $2,996.72 per fortnight
  • Starting salary to be determined upon the qualifications and experience of successful applicant.

  • Working 76 hours per fortnight with a rostered day off (9 Day fortnight)
