This opportunity is for a Customer Service Supervisor. This position is Full-time in our Condobolin Office.

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for the effective management and provision of professional level front line customer service to Council's external and internal customers. This position involves managing front line customer service staff, telephone enquiries, cashiering, Service NSW duties, accounts receivable processing, library services and related tasks. In this role you will contribute to Council's commitment to the delivery of high-quality customer service and values that support and enhance our community.

To be successful you will need:

  • the ability to lead and manage staff
  • excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • conflict management skills and experience
  • to work well in a team environment 
  • experience in accounts receivable processing, receipting, accounting & electronic records management systems.
  • a Class C Driver Licence

The successful candidate must also be able to undertake Service NSW Training, if this training has not already been completed. Training will be conducted after commencement and is typically 4 weeks full time training held off site. 

Benefits for you:

  • The salary range is $2,901.96 to $3,119.61 per fortnight 
  • Starting salary to be determined upon the qualifications and experience of successful applicant.
  • Grade 10 within Council's Salary Structure
  • Working 76 hours per fortnight with a rostered day off (9 Day fortnight)

  • Employer Superannuation of 11.5%
  • Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award
