Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a Plant Operator Level 5 - Grader Heavy Maintenance to join our Roads Team!
In this role, you will undertake a variety of duties from labouring to major plant operation, mainly grader operation in the capacity of heavy maintenance grading, overseeing and supervising day to day heavy road maintenance works.
This full-time position is based in Condobolin NSW.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- The ability to safely operate a Grader
- Previous work related experience
- Supervisory skills
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Good planning, customer service and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of plant maintenance
- Good literacy skills
- A current Class C Driver Licence.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

What we Offer
Salary and Conditions:
- Salary range: $2,475 to $2,660 per fortnight
- Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Position classified at Grade 7 within Council's Salary Structure.
- Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
