Lachlan Shire Council's Environment and Planning Department are seeking a motivated and professional Administration Officer!

This casual position is based in Condobolin and provides a high level of secretarial & administrative assistance and support for Council's Environment & Planning Department while also providing exceptional customer service & front line assistance to the public.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • a Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent work related experience
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Highly developed organisational, time management and planning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing work priorities
  • The ability to understand and interpret legislation
  • A current Class C Driver Licence.
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

What we Offer

Salary and Conditions: 

  • Salary commencing at  $44.34 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
  • Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
  • Position classified at Grade 9 within Council's Salary Structure.
  • Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
